Graduate of Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Chicago, IL. During fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, observed high frequency of learning disabilities in adolescents with emotional problems. Subsequent practice involved treatment of psychosomatic and post traumatic stress disorders (PTSD). In 1985 was first physician in United States to train in remediation of Neuro-Developmental Delay (NDD) at Institute for Neuro-Physiological Psychology, Chester, England with Dr. Peter H. Blythe. Present practice involves the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with NDD. Additional areas of investigation and interest include PTSD and effects birth trauma on later development of psychosomatic disorders.
